New Flooring

So on Friday night Brad came over to help me rip up all the carpet in my place....man the dust was brutal so dusty in here.

On Saturday Lee and Tanya came over to lay the new laminate floor down. It took us from 11am till 9pm to lay the floor down. We had some tricky parts in the floor and once we figured out the best to click the floor together it was smooth sailing. If it wasn't for Brad coming over on Friday night to help rip up the carpet, the floor would have not been finished in one day. THANK YOU SO MUCH BRAD :)

I can't thank Lee and Tanya enough for all their help on Saturday to push to get it done too :)

We still need to put the 1/4 round down but at least the floor is all in and with just enough laminate we almost had to run out and get another box.

I love the new floor looks awesome and chic :)

January 1st - January 24th

1. Bought my own condo and love it
2. Tanya came over and helped paint my living room and dinning room it went from a mint green to light taupe brown on 3 walls and dark grey on the one wall. It looks so chic now.
3. Went to Ikea and bought myself a new dresser I am finally getting rid of my tall boy dresser that I have had since I was about 15 years old lol
4. Bought new flooring for my condo medium to dark wood colour. Lee and Brad are going to help my and rip up all the carpet and lay the laminate for me. The lady before me had a dog and I need to get the carpet out of here.
5. Mom got her results back on January 12th and she is CANCER FREE....which was a big relief lifted from my shoulders. she has to go back in 3 months for a check up to make sure the cancer is gone and hasn't come back
6. My step dad Doug got his results back on January 18th and he was not so lucky. His tumour has gotten bigger and he is going to have to start stronger chemo on January 26th. They go back to Sudbury on Monday January 25th for Doug to get the pic line put back in and then chemo starts on Tuesday.
